Arc de TriompheParis Attractions  Paris is packed with tourist destinations such as the Eiffel Tower,  although not enough to keep the children entertained for a full week, unless you want to make the most of Disneyland Resort Paris.  However the attractions here will easily give you several days of entertainment and you could mix and match a few carefully chosen monuments/museums in between to keep the balance of culture!

Boat on the river SeineBoat Trip on the Seine

Location:
Boats leave from the Port de la Bourdonnais near to the Eiffel Tower or from the wharf alongside Notre Dame cathedral.
General Info:
Round trips leave half hourly in the summer and are around €11 for adults and €5 for chidren (up to 11 years).
Description:
A 1 hour boat trip along the Seine on one of the so called “Bateaux-Mouches” takes you through the heartland of Paris.  It is an un-forgettable experience as you can see so many of the major tourist sites from a new perspective with the added benefit of an English commentary via individual handsets.
Our recommendations:
The Batobus service, as it's name suggests, is like a bus allowing you to get on or off anywhere along the river.  Services run every 20 mins, 10AM-7PM (Apr - Nov) and until 9PM between June and September.  You can purchase one or two day passes for this service.
For the children: The 1 hour trip is a bit dull for toddlers, but everyone else will enj
oy it!  There is a special commentary available for children aged 8-14 (in French only).
