Description: Home of the French perfume industry, not an especially attractive town, yet housing some fascinating perfumeries and museums.
Location: 15km north west of Cannes via the N85.
General Info: Office de Tourisme website.
Our recommendations: Take one of the guided tours of the perfumeries such as the Fragonard Perfumery where you can see the history of perfume making through the ages. Fascinating to see.
For the children: The children have plenty of hands on opportunities and tours are available in English. If you want to make a day trip then you can easily combine with a trip to the beach in Cannes, although we recommend to make the beach the first stop as parking gets difficult.
