Seine Boat Trip

Description: The one hour boat trip along the Seine on one of the “Bateaux-Mouches” takes you through the heartland of Paris. It is an unforgettable experience as you can see so many of the major tourist sites from a new perspective with the added benefit of an English commentary via individual handsets.

Location: Boats leave from the Port de la Bourdonnais near to the Eiffel Tower or from the wharf alongside Notre Dame cathedral.

General Info: Round trips leave half hourly in the summer and are around €11* for adults and €5* for chidren (up to 11 years).

Our recommendations: The Batobus service, as its name suggests, is like a bus allowing you to get on or off anywhere along the river. Services run every 20 mins, 10am to 7pm (Apr – Nov) and until 9pm between June and September. You can purchase one or two day passes for this service.

For the children: The one hour trip is a bit dull for toddlers, but everyone else will enjoy it! There is a special commentary available for children aged 8-14 (in French only).
