There is a good visitor centre here and it is possible to picnic in the woods adjacent to the main car park.

Location: 8km east of Barjac on the D176.

General Info: Open from 1st Feb- 15th Nov. Adult entry costs around €10* and children aged 6-14 around €6*. Students can get discounted entry for around €8*. In July/Aug there are tours every 20 minutes.

Our recommendations: Equally worth visiting on a really hot day (when you will be able to keep cool as it is only 13 deg C underground – take a woolly!) or on a rainy day to get out of the rain!

For the children: They will enjoy this place although it is not pure entertainment.
