Brittany Ferries

Brittany Ferries don’t have a guarantee of this kind, however there is a reassuring message on their website:

Will Brexit affect my travel plans?

At Brittany Ferries we believe we have a responsibility to raise and respond to customer concerns arising following Britain’s exit from the EU. But we also have a duty to be careful not to exaggerate potential problems or contribute unnecessarily to uncertainty. For this reason we have created the following Q&A, which we hope strikes the right balance, with links to further information.

Be assured

Whether you have already booked or are thinking of travelling with us, deal or no deal, Brittany Ferries will continue to operate all routes post-29 March 2019. The fundamentals of travel by sea will not change regardless of the post-Brexit landscape, so please continue to book with confidence.

Currently, is stating the following:

There would be changes if you visit the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland and the UK leaves the EU without a deal.

It would mean that from 12 April 2019, the rules for passports, driving, EHIC cards, pet travel and more would change. Check if you need to act now to make sure you can travel as planned.

There would be no immediate changes to travel if the UK agrees a deal to leave the EU. The rules would be the same until at least 2020.
