Ménez Hom, Brittany

Description: Ménez Hom is a mountain by Brittany standards, reaching an altitude of 330m. However its attraction is more than just that. It offers splendid panoramic views of  the Brest peninsula. The area is popular with hang gliders and model aircraft enthusiasts and a folk festival is held there every August.

Location: Take the D887 from Chateaulin to Crozon and branch right after about 11km onto the road which leads up to the summit.

General Info: There is car parking at the top.

Our recommendations: Definitely worth a visit for the view and maybe a brief stroll although we wouldn’t make a day of it.

For the children: They will probably enjoy a 30 minute stop!
