Description: La Réserve Africaine de Sigean is a massive wildlife park with nearly 4000 wild animals in an area covering more than 300 hectares making it possible to re-create the original habitat of each species.

Location:  On the N9, 15 km south of Narbonne and 8km north of Sigean.

General Info: Open every day of the year from 9AM, last admissions 18.30 in high season.  Entry costs €24* per adult and €18* per child aged 4 – 14.  Website.

Our recommendations:  Remember that in the drive through part of the park you will need to keep your windows and sun roof completely shut.  So unless you have a good air conditioning system in your car you should try to visit this part of the park early in the morning.

For the children:  There is also a large walkround section which can take up to 3 hours to visit so our advice would be to do the drive through in the morning, then enjoy a picnic lunch, followed by the hands on areas in the afternoon.

*Prices are approx, please check with the attraction before visiting.
