Description: This is predominantly a freshwater aquarium that contains many of the fish that can be found in the Loire river as well as those which frequent tropical rivers such as turtles, piranhas and even sharks. These can be viewed in large tanks, some of which are ‘touchy feely’.

Location: At Lussault-sur-Loire on the D751 which runs parallel to The Loire river on the southern side, take the D283 S for 3 kms to the aquarium.

Our recommendation: Combine this with a visit to the Parc des Mini-Châteaux as you can get a combined ticket for these attractions. Probably only a half day at the most. Expensive.
