Beachside property, just 10m from the dunes and 100m from a sandy beach on north-west Brittany coastline. Hot tub, sauna, enclosed garden with lawn, decked area and barbecue.

This neo Breton style property is located on a beautiful stretch of the coast, 32km north of Brest and under an hour’s drive from the ferry port of Roscoff. The villa is located a mere 100m from a very long and wide sandy beach. There is an easy path across a quiet road that takes you directly to the beach. There are some lovely walks available from your doorstep and an array of water sports nearby such as sailing, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding and more. Most if not all beaches in the area are dog friendly. There is a riding school and a surfing school nearby and you might spot the occasional horse go pass on the beach. Something of an idyllic sight…

The property has been renovated in a modern style and to a high standard, with great thoughts to details with lovely features and throughout. Extra touches include welcome presents for adults and for your four-legged friend on arrival. It is those small things that make a difference and that make a stay at this property somewhat different.

Whilst there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms the capacity has been restricted to four people, but the owner will accept an additional two people. Prices shown online are based on four people. Please contact us for prices for five or six people. Discounts may be available for long stays for one or two people.

With one bedroom on the ground floor, spacious bathroom with floor-to-ceiling shower, a living/dining area and kitchen without steps and the house on the ground floor almost has ground-level access from the street, this property will suit most people with mobility issues. Please do ask should you have any specific requirements. The spa room is also accessible via a small ramp. A shower stool and a rollable stool for the kitchen can be provided on request.

The house is south and west-facing and has a lovely, enclosed garden with lawn, a decked area with outdoor furniture and barbecue and some lovely trees including palm trees, a fig tree but also brightly coloured hortensia and a tangerine bush.

To the rear there is a small south-east facing terrace. The hot tub and sauna with a large relaxing area are most appreciated by all guests and are truly great additions to this wonderful villa. If you need to access your work, there is a designated office area with granite desk and USB charging unit which you may find useful should you decide on a long stay at the property with a combination of work and holiday.

Located in a peaceful setting, this is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Local shops, restaurants and bars are just 2km away in the village of Guisseny. There is a wider choice of restaurants within ten minutes’ easy drive from the property.
There are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy water sports locally at the Centre Nautique Brignogan Plage at 12km including windsurfing, stand-up paddle, kayak, diving and catamaran hire.

Roscoff, under an hour drive, is more than just a ferry port (sailings to and from Plymouth). Attractive 16th century granite buildings nestle against the coastline, the streets filled with restaurants, bars, charming little art galleries and gift shops. Across a narrow stretch of water from the quaint harbour is the tiny Ile de Batz, a beautiful island well worth a visit.
Capacity restricted for your comfort.

DAY TRIP IDEAS
Méneham to Pontusval (10km)
Several kilometres of sandy beaches in what is recognised as one of the most beautiful coastal stretches of northern Brittany. After a long day walking along this amazing coast why not pay a visit to the small hamlet of Méneham with its inn by the sea. There you can enjoy a well-deserved rest with a bowl of cider and crepe.
L’Aber-Wrach in Landéda (14km)
In this part of North Finistère, three beautiful, long estuaries cut into the coast with Aber Wrac’h, renowned for its Bay of Angels, the largest. This is a small coastal village with white sandy beaches, small islands, sand dunes and coastal paths, sailing schools, a scuba diving centre, restaurants, cafés and shops. Out at sea and a few kilometres west you will find the Ile Vierge (Virgin Island) which has the highest lighthouse in Europe. Another lighthouse on the island of Wrac’h with a fort on an island opposite called Fort Cezon. Also close by and not to be missed the pretty hamlet of Menez-Hom in Kerlouan. Nestling behind huge, oddly shaped stones, this picturesque fishing village, with its thatched roofs, certainly has retained all its charm. There is so much to do in the area, you will be spoilt for choice. Should you continue further west, Aber Benoît, famous for its oysters, is also popular with pleasure boaters and fine sandy beaches.
Brest (32km)
Naval port, nestled in one of France’s most beautiful natural harbours. There is lots to do in Brest: the outstanding cable-stayed Pont de l’Iroise Bridge, a stroll along the lively quays as far as the castle museum, and Oceanopolis, a large aquarium with marine wildlife in tropical, temperate and polar zones, including seven shark species.
Island of Ouessant or Ushant
The island is the north-westernmost point of metropolitan France. The island proudly faces the Atlantic Ocean which is battered by the winds. With superb landscapes, lighthouses and treacherous seafaring heritage but especially for its indigenous sheep, a day trip to the island is well worth the visit! Boat crossings from Brest (34km) or Le Conquet (49km).
Roscoff (43km)
The seaside town of Roscoff is a picturesque and charming port, home of the onion Johnnies. In August the town goes onion crazy with the Fête de l’Onion and you enjoy onions in all their forms whether in a classic onion soup or a tart. Other attractions include the wonderful botanical garden, a 10-minute walk from the centre of town and Sainte Barbe’s Chapel, situated on a rocky headland offering panoramic views of Roscoff, the coastline and Ile de Batz. There are numerous restaurants in town where you can enjoy the famous crepes bretonnes and taste fresh fish and seafood.
Le Conquet (49km)
Most western port of France with lots of character and still unspoilt. Boat trips to the Islands of Ouessant or Île-Molène are available. Just north of Le Conquet you will discover sites of great beauty such as the peninsula of Kermorvan with its ancient fortress, the vast beach of Les Blancs Sablons or the headland Pointe Saint Mathieu with its semaphore, light house and the remains of the abbey.
Morlaix (63km)
Medieval town with an impressive 19th Century viaduct. Morlaix has a very historic centre with cobbled streets, 16th Century half-timber houses and a beautiful Bay. Visit the imposing Chateau du Taureau, take a boat trip out to the 7 small islets which are an ornithology reserve and home to 60.000 puffins in the winter. Stroll across the charming Ile de Callot at low tide and discover the pretty coves and beaches scattered along its shore.
NEARBY ACTIVITIES
The region offers many sporting and leisure activities.
Watersports at the Centre Nautique Brignogan Plage (12km) including windsurfing, stand-up paddle, kayak, diving and catamarans hire.
Fishing: 200m.

Our Guests say…

“The whole family (3 adults) plus our dog stayed over Christmas / New Year for ten days in the house. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and tasteful interior of each room of the house. The equipment of the kitchen with eating and cooking utensils was excellent. Nothing was missing! Whirlpool and sauna we liked to use. Our dog felt very comfortable in the fenced garden. The house is very quiet behind the dunes about 100m from the sandy beach. The whole stay was for us a very great experience. We would like to thank the key holder especially for his helpfulness and friendliness. All in all, highly recommended.”
Family Daiger December 2021

“Great house, great beaches, nice people! If you search, you would certainly find something to complain about, but the gentleman on site is such a great host, he would take care of any issues encountered. We spent a dream holiday and both the accommodation and all members of our party enjoyed it thoroughly! Thank you very much and best regards!”
K.F.M October 2021

“Lots of fun in this lovely villa with all the comforts and equipment needed for a great holiday. The keyholder was very friendly and available. We appreciated the proximity to the beach (going barefoot with the children from home was an absolute organizational comfort!) and the jacuzzi for less cool swims than those in the ocean.”
Myriam H. July 2021

“We stayed for the second time at this property and it was again fantastically beautiful. Nothing is missing in the house. The new terrace is very nice and upgrades the house and the holiday again. We enjoyed the terrace in the sun to the fullest, and in bad weather there is the great wellness area. In addition, the proximity to the beach, it almost does not get better. Again a big thank you and we look forward to 3 more weeks next year.”
Family H September 2020

“It was our 4th stay at the villa and as always we enjoyed it very much. The new wooden terrace is an absolute added value that we have used extensively thanks to good weather, as well as the wellness area! The house is fantastically located on the dunes and top equipped.”
