Description

Domaine de Juliette offers three holiday cottages in a beautiful part of the Dordogne.  Great for holidaying with friends or family, the three cottage gites can sleep 2, 4, 6 or group bookings for up to 12.

The gites are perfect for a relaxing holiday, surrounded by open fields, views, traffic free lanes, ideal for walking and cycling.   It’s a very family-friendly setting, with a box of games for kids, space for them to play football, our own full sized boules pitch, and of course, fabulous outdoor pool.

Les Petits Tourtereaux, sleeps up to 2 (plus small child)

This studio gite is a magnificent traditional stone building dated from the 1800s and has been renovated to the highest standard to provide authentic accommodation for couples.

This studio gite is a self contained suite with its own fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and French doors which lead onto the private terrace.

The large picture window, French doors and a further arched kitchen window, ensure that the studio is wonderfully bright and takes full advantage of the unspoilt views across the expansive grounds at Domaine de Juliette.

The accommodation has a spacious bathroom with large bath, jacuzzi power shower and hand basin with illuminated mirror.

Large French doors provide this romantic suite with views through fig trees, woodland glade and overlooking countryside as far as the eye can see.

Facilities include:

  • Gas cooker and fridge freezer
  • Breakfast bar and stools
  • Comfortable, large sofa
  • TV/UK channels, DVD and Hi Fi
  • King- sized bed, side tables, wardrobe

Baby cot, highchair and baby bath available if required

This gite is comfortably spacious for a couple and infant , and has been perfectly designed to be private from the other gite accommodation.

The 11m x 5m Romanesque salt water, swimming pool is nestled around a 300 year old walled garden providing a tranquil haven and sun trap.

Large open fields, wooded areas, boules court, badminton and table tennis offer a broad range of activities for the more energetic. For the quieter moments there are a selection of hammocks, seating arbors and loungers from which to while away the hours.

Spacious, private terraces and gardens are essential to enjoy dining alfresco on those balmy evenings and are an integral part of the accommodation at Domaine de Juliette.

Local Attractions

Revel in the tranquility which surrounds us, admire the breathtaking night skies, take a cycle on the quiet country lanes or a canoe to the River Dropt.

Just 25 minutes from Bergerac and its airport and 2 minutes, or a leisurely stroll, from the picturesque Bastide village of Eymet; where you can enjoy excellent restaurants, cafe bars and traditional French markets all placed around a picturesque, medieval village square.

Bergerac is only 30 minutes away and the towns of Marmande and Villeneuve-sur-lot are also easily accessible. They all have beautiful old town centres with shops and markets and are well worth a visit.

A day-trip to Bordeaux is a 90 minute drive away, with plenty of choices for stop off points before reaching the city where boutique shopping, sight-seeing and the culture can be enjoyed. Walking around the 18th century old town center (Quartier St.Pierre) helps you imagine the city’s commercial and maritime past.
