We will of course continue to be mindful of the situation and the precautions will be in place to ensure that guests are as safe as possible at Peyloubère :-
Cleanliness – 24 hours between reservations to ensure even more stringent cleanliness than usual
Social distancing – from your hosts and other guests, private gardens and plenty of space in which to wander and relax away from other guests
Check-in and check-out without contact
Co-operation on regulated pool times for each family
You will find full details on our website and blog – www.peyloubere.com – but don’t hesitate to contact us direct. We cannot wait to be sharing Peyloubère with our guests once again so fingers crossed, the situation will continue to improve. A bientôt !

The stunning Domaine de Peyloubère is a 35-acre château estate located near Auch in the heart of Gascony, south-west France. There are five cottages accommodating from four to eight guests, a 12 x 6metre heated swimming pool (enclosed by a fence and self closing gates) as well as the health centre with sauna, exercise equipment, secluded garden and sunbathing terrace.
The holiday cottages at Peyloubère are designed with families in mind. They are practical, comfortable, spacious and uncluttered and the gardens of ‘Giulietta’ and ‘les Cèdres’ are enclosed for the safety of younger children. We have been delighted to welcome numerous families with children of all ages over the past twenty years and have learned from experience what makes the task of holidaying with young children a pleasure rather than a challenge.
First, baby paraphernalia ! Four cots (with linen), four high chairs (suitable for newborn babies up to small children), baby bath, changing mat are all provided at no charge. A microwave, children’s cutlery, plastic bowls and beakers are standard in all cottages as are a television and DVD player with a large library of films, invaluable for those quiet moments.
Indoor and outdoor games are provided for all our visitors and there are two large toy chests containing soft toys, puzzles, lego, farmyard animals and books for our younger guests.
All this as well as 35 acres of woodland, lakes and gardens and lots to do and see nearby from the childrens’ playground in Pavie village to go-karting, acro-branche, riding stables and paintball all within ten minutes and, further afield, leisure lakes, river trips, drive-thru safari and zoo, Aqualand and Walibi theme park as well of course as more demanding sports and hiking in the Pyrénées.
‘Les Rosiers’ is set apart from the other cottages and is ideal for couples who appreciate their own peaceful haven to retire to, and is equally suitable for families with two young children.
Located on the ground floor of the Manoir, les Rosiers was originally the kitchen and dining room of the house. The focal point of the large living room is a magnificent beamed fireplace with wood burning stove for cooler weather. Tall french windows lead into the garden making the room wonderfully cool and fresh in the heat of the day.
There is a spacious double room with 150cm bed where the wooden ceiling is one of those painted by Mario Cavaglieri during his occupation of Peyloubère. The second bedroom has 90cm bunks, large and comfortable enough for children and teenagers alike. There is also a kitchen with store room, small entrance hall and shower room with wc.
