Hameau des Treimars offers exclusive use of a lovingly restored hamlet overlooking the Luberon mountains with accommodation in three adjacent buildings, two large private pools and private tennis court. It has 12 bedrooms in total, all en suite. 

Perched on the top of a hill with stunning views, the ancient hamlet of Treimars has been lovingly restored into luxurious holiday accommodation with attention to detail and respecting local traditions, crafts and materials.

La Maison Haute, La Maison Basse and Le Mas de Sinety are three adjoining buildings that that make up Le Hameau des Treimars and are let together. Le Mas de Sinety is the latest property to be renovated with careful attention to detail. This property is a further dwelling located next to the other two buildings with a large living room and huge dining room that can accommodate all 24 people.

La Maison Haute and Le Mas de Sinety can also be rented together for a capacity of up to 18 but only from 6/1 to 6/7 and from 7/9 to 4/1/24. Please contact us for more information.

With breath-taking views wherever you look and total peace and quiet, you may not wish to leave this rustic paradise. There is also a brand new second private pool located next to Le Mas de Sinety with hot tub, fitness room, yoga room, sauna and hammam. There are also opportunities for wellness activities such as massages and yoga sessions. For all large parties it is highly recommended to reserve a year or two in advance due to high interest!

However, when you do venture out, some of the finest perched villages in Provence including Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste and Bonnieux are within 20km of the Hameau de Treimars. There are also many other fascinating villages and towns to discover, many with weekly markets.

La Maison Haute has three bedrooms all en-suite, a very large kitchen/dining room, spacious living room with a fireplace and two furnished outside terraces to relax and admire the breath-taking views.

La Maison Basse just next door and independent has three bedrooms all en-suite, a kitchen with dining table and an outside terrace overlooking the pool.

Le Mas de Sinety also next door and independent has four bedrooms all en-suite, a living room, large dining room, kitchen and an outside terrace with great views.

Two further bedrooms are in the spa house both with en-suite bathroom.

The restoration combines simplicity and luxury to create colourful and cosy accommodation in a Provencal farmhouse style.

The beautiful natural gardens are planted with local fragrant herbs, all of which would have been growing and thriving here hundreds of years ago.
Le Hameau des Treimars is the perfect location for a large group staying together yet with the flexibility to enjoy time apart. Guests at Le Hameau des Treimars can also pay a visit to nearby Les Davids: an organic farm and vineyard with its own shop selling the finest local produce. Les Davids can also cook for you upon request and deliver meals directly to your property front door. A genuinely unique service!

Le Mas de Sinety: Vast living room with open fireplace, wooden beams and colourful Provencal floor tiles. Comfortable sofas, wide screen TV and DVD. Dining room large enough to host all 24 of the hamlet’s guests.

Kitchens 

Maison Haute: Fully equipped Provençal kitchen with dining area. Oven, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

Maison Basse: Kitchen with dining table opening onto furnished outside terrace. Oven, American fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Le Mas de Sinety: Beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with two range cookers, two fridges and two dishwashers. Large dining room with seating for 24 people.

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with large double bed. Four steps to private sitting room and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc. TV and safe. Direct access by an external staircase to the garden and pool.

Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with two steps down to en-suite shower room.

First floor:

Bedroom 3: Spacious bedroom with large double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and wc accessed via a small door and steep stairs off the living room.

Maison Basse:

Ground floor

Bedroom 4: Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.TV and safe. French door to terrace.

First floor, external access only.

Bedroom 5: Bedroom with large double bed with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and wc, TV and pool view.

Private heated pool 1: 14m x 5m. Steps. Security system: cover. Pool heated from mid-May to mid-October. Heating included in price. Pool heating available outside these dates at extra cost. Sun loungers.

Private heated pool 2: 14m x 6m. Steps. Security system: alarm. Pool heated from mid-May to mid-October. Heating included in price. Pool heating available outside these dates at extra cost. Sun loungers.

CHANGEOVER DAY      

Saturday (4/5/24-28/9/24). Outside these dates non-Saturday arrivals/departures may be considered. Please ask for details.

INCLUDED IN THE RENT            

  • Bed linen and towels (including pool towels).
  • Water and electricity (including heating).
  • Six hours of cleaning per property and per week.

OTHER CHARGES

Refundable security deposit: 1000€ (cash, cheque or card swipe) refunded on departure.

Places to visit:

Les Davids: Nearby organic vineyard and farm run by the owners of the Hameau des Treimars with farm shop offering a selection of wines, fruit, vegetables and local produce. Deliveries to the property also available.
Viens (8 km): The nearest Medieval perched village with regular Wednesday morning market and festival in August.
Simiane la Rotonde (9 km): Hilltop village with its Medieval castle and international Baroque music festival in the summer.
Reillane (24 km): A fascinating and authentic Provencal village famous for its incredible festival in June. Wander through the historic old village or visit the Sunday morning market.
The Colorado Provencal (10 km): Located between the villages of Rustrel and Gignac waymarked walks take you through a unique and colourful desert scenery with yellow and red rock formations created when ochre was quarried in the area.
Avignon (75 km): On the banks of the Rhone, the magnificent city of Avignon has a UNESCO-protected architecture, including the huge Palais des Papes. And nearby Châteauneuf-du-Pape still produces fabulous and renowned red wines. Each July, thousands of visitors descend for a contemporary performing arts extravaganza, the Festival d’Avignon.
Aix en Provence (78 km): Lively town with numerous restaurants and bars near the famous Cours Mirabeau, markets on most week-days. There are lots of wonderful art galleries all within walking distance from one another in the centre of Aix, shops, music and much more!
