This large family holiday rental property can comfortably sleep 2-12 people, 6 bedrooms 5 bathrooms in total.  The beautiful barn conversion  sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and our Perigordian cottage, just across the courtyard, sleeps 4 people and offers a further 2 bedrooms and a bathroom,  12 guests in total.

Situated at the back of a tiny hamlet in its own grounds, with its own private driveway, the Marronnier is in a peaceful setting. There’s plenty of space/seating/sun loungers for everyone. Large outdoor covered terrace with seating for 12, gas plancha, charcoal BBQ, outdoor sink, fridge, ideal for alfresco dining.

Le Marronnier is an ideal base for sight seeing with lots of tourist attractions nearby, restaurants, chateaux, famous caves, historic towns, quaint villages, truffle orchards/restaurants, local markets, canoeing, velorail, acro branch, horse riding, walking trails. Nearby lake beaches, one with water skiing, paddle boards. Locally you can also book with the local Tourist Office to go gold panning, caving and rock climbing ……..There are electric mountain bikes available to rent locally (delivery available)

*Cottage option:

For 9-12 people, the Cottage is available as an option.
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom.
It is located opposite the main house, across the courtyard.
The* Cottage remains empty if you do not wish to take the Cottage option.

The base price is for the main house which can accommodate up to 8 people. The option for the cottage for 9-12 people is an extra €700pw.   The cottage is NOT rented separately, but only as an option for your group.

Additional Information

The Pool is open and heated from May till Oct.  The Jacuzzi is open all year round

To make a Reservation: Booking form and deposit payment of 30% of the amount of the reservation, the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
Security Deposit: €500 – returned via bank transfer after departure.

Arrival day: after 4 p.m. – Departure day: before 10 a.m.
