Manoir de Saule has a fantastic location with the majority of the main places of interest range between 15 to 60 minute easy drive.
The Manoir together with its Gites are set in some of the most stunning scenery found in Normandy. From a historical perspective, our location is central to the launch of ‘Operation COBRA’ the US Army Breakout of Normandy late in July 1944.
If you have a larger party you can hire La Petite Saule as well as Ivy Cottage, but each gite does have their own dedicated garden area.
Ivy Cottage offers:

- Suitable for people with limited mobility with open plan layout, with walk-in shower and wet room
- Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine / tumble dryer

Our 2 bed ‘Ivy Cottage’ Gite ground floor barn conversion sleeps 5 and benefits people inside and out with limited mobility owing to the open plan nature of the Gite throughout. The Gite Comprises a large spacious main bed room with a double and single bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, a walk-in open plan shower/wet room with toilet and an open plan kitchen / lounge and dining area.
The Gite is beautifully presented, well appointed and equipped. With soft furnishings to match, the decor comes in a modern contemporary style. The Gite has its own well kept garden complete with garden furniture.
The Gite accommodation and the Manoir are set within 10 acres of land complemented by beautiful gardens, an outdoor swimming pool (open May to September), a small lake, barbecue area, outside boules court and children’s play area.
For the most thought provoking day out, visits to the infamous D Day beaches and the many D Day museums are a must. Add to your list a visit to Mont St Michel (one of the most visited places in France) and perhaps a trip out to see the Bayeux Tapestry.
Alternatively, how about a visit to one of the most highly profiled National Stud Farms in France, a few days out on any of the great Golf Courses in our area and not forgetting the children, a mixture of theme and activity parks, zoos and other places of interest all for the whole family to enjoy.
Whether it’s a historic site seeing holiday, a holiday with a sporty theme or one with just simply relaxation in mind away from the normal stresses of life wining and dining out and about, be assured that you will find it difficult to find a better place to base your well earned holiday.
