Nestled in a forest, La Reserve holiday village sits on the banks of Lake Biscarosse, where families can laze on the beach and enjoy the shallow waters of the lake. There’s a large swimming complex with a heated outdoor pool and waterslide, and the family friendly services include lots of sports, daytime activities, a restaurant, bar and evening entertainment.
Nearby cycle paths head through the region’s swathes of pine forest to the coast, where there are giant golden beaches and waves made for surfing, plus the towering Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe.

Lifeguarded pool complex
This year, the fantastic swimming pool here at La Reserve has been expanded for to give you more room to relax – 500m² of more space to be exact, with more deckchairs and parasols! The campsite has a magnificent aquatic complex with several outdoor swimming pools, slides, a beautiful paddling pool, water games, a heated indoor swimming pool and fun slides.
Hours of operation :
April: from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
May, June and September: from 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
July – August: 10:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The entire aquatic area is open in July and August. 2 pools at a minimum as well as the slides and the splash zone are open the rest of the season.

There is loads to keep you active and entertained on your holiday at La Reserve. From water-skiing, boats and parasailing on the lake, to cycle paths that reach all the way to the coast and playgrounds and sports pitches across the site, there’s no end of things to try. And in the evenings, the fun moves to our outside stage where the team hosts family-friendly discos, karaoke, quizzes and our weekly big show for the perfect end to every day.
Free children’s clubs
The entertainment teams go out of their way to offer your children quality activities adapted to their age. And your kids will love them! Morning, afternoon or both sessions, the children’s clubs offer activities 5 days a week, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and non-stop during the day once a week.

Pirates Club from 4 to 7 years old
Barracudas Club from 8 to 11 years old
Teen Club 12 years and over
A Bubbles Space for children aged 1 to 3 accompanied by a parent is also at your disposal.

Places to visit near La Réserve holiday park
If your family loves beach breaks, you are spoiled for choice at La Reserve. The park is set on the banks of Lake Biscarosse and has its own private beach where you can soak up the sun. Or you can head to one of the many beaches on the coast, where the golden sands stretch on and on and the waves are perfect for bodyboards and surfing. Watersports are a favourite in this area of France and you can book lessons at the sailing school at Lake Biscarosse. For a break from the ocean, you must tackle the challenge of Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, and explore the shops and restaurant of stylish Arcachon. For a day out, head to cosmopolitan Bordeaux.
