There is another large table on the downstairs terrace which seats 10 people.

The house lies in the countryside close to the local village of Le Thor. The terrain is crossed by the meandering River Sorgues that runs throughout its fields and orchards. It lies on a quiet road and is within easy cycling and walking distance of Le Thor.
Le Thor is situated within close proximity of Avignon, about 20 minutes and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgues, about 10 minutes. It is a typical French town with local shops and produce, market days and cafes to sit at and watch the world go by. It is steeped in history with medieval buildings and a central church that sits on the banks of the beautiful River Sorgues.
There are a couple of local restaurants but you are best advised to visit those recommended by Audrey and Peter, including the “Mas de Rives Vertes” a local farm that specializes in long lazy Sunday lunches, a local brasserie terrace bar with a view, serving steaks and frites under a weighty wisteria in Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne and the many stylish restaurants of L’Ise-sur-la-Sorgues, with its antique shops and brocante markets.
The owners, Audrey and Peter, live on site. They both work for cycling companies and will be happy to rent out bicycles to fit your size and requirements. Please ask for more details.
