Les Charmettes is a fantastic holiday park by the sea in the Charente Maritime. It is a firm favourite with British and Irish visitors. Located Between La Rochelle and Bordeaux, it is in the area where the climate is warmer than Brittany and Normandy but still within a comfortable drive from ferry ports. It is also within easy distance of Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Nantes airports.

Pool, Spa, Water slides and Fountains

This campsite offers 4 star facilities and services near the seaside town of La Palmyre. At the heart of the park is the huge pool complex, which includes an indoor pool and spa bath, several outdoor pools, slides, fountains and an aqua splash zone. There are children’s clubs run for all ages during the day for up to 15 year olds.  A range of sports activities including football, basketball, and boules are on site for all ages.

In the evening you can either enjoy an al fresco evening meal by your accommodation with your BBQ, or head down to the on-site restaurant and bar. Nightly entertainment in the spectacular indoor entertainment venue is sure to please all ages.

Quality Accommodation

Accommodation is spacious and well-equipped mobile homes. Most have decking and all with your own BBQ.  The park is beautifully landscaped and each holiday home has it’s own private garden area with outside dining furniture.

Plenty to do nearby

There is a selection of great beaches nearby, from the rolling waves of the Atlantic to the calmer coves at La Palmyre.  It’s easy to cycle to the coast from the park along family-friendly cycle routes. With La Rochelle nearby there are plenty of places to visit in the local area.
