Le Portanel is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast offering 4 ensuite double rooms and a large sunny garden with a swimming pool just a short walk from the charming Bastide town of Eymet in the Dordogne in South West France.

Our spacious, comfortable and well equipped ensuite double bedrooms have the option for interconnecting rooms. An extra bed for a child (age 3+) can be provided upon request in two of our rooms.

We are on the avenue through Eymet between Bergerac and Marmande. All of our rooms are fully double glazed, but we do charge a little less for the two rooms overlooking the avenue.

All of our rooms include:

• Fresh milk and filtered water is always available in the fridge in the guest lounge area

Our guest day lounge area has a large fridge for shared guest use, tea and coffee, TV with UK / French channels, access to the garden with tables, chairs, gazebo, sun loungers, table tennis and use of the swimming pool. Our pool is not heated and is open for use by guests from May – September.

We provide a continental breakfast of pastries, bread, preserves, cereal, yogurt and fruit with a choice of hot and cold drinks. We’ll take orders for eggs and we will have a daily ‘special’ on the board which we will prepare as required.

We have private parking on our driveway and there is always additional free parking across the road if necessary. We can lock bikes away in our garage if needed.

Unfortunately, our property is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
