The Courtyard Cottage 

This gite cottage is perfect for family holidays, offering a range of amenities tailored for relaxation and convenience. The cottage provides privacy for you to enjoy your own fenced garden.  It also has a sunroom that leads to a patio equipped with a BBQ and outdoor seating for 8, alongside four lounge chairs. Sleeping arrangements include a double bedroom and a family bedroom with a double bed and two singles.  The bedrooms are complemented by en-suite facilities in the family bedroom and a separate family bathroom with shower and bathtub.   The spacious rooms feature ceramic tiled flooring throughout.

The cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and coffee machine, as well as plastic cutlery and tableware for younger guests.

A separate utility room houses a washing machine and cleaning supplies for added convenience.

The cosy lounge showcases original wooden beams, a stone bread oven, and a log burner.  There is also a flat-screen TV offering UK and French channels, internet access, and comfortable seating for relaxation, including a sofa sleeper for two.

Additionally, travel cots and high chairs are available upon request. Outside

On the grounds you will find a 7m x 15m heated shared swimming pool, a delightful play area and an inviting games room.

This family-friendly gite cottage enjoys an ideal location for exploring nearby lakes boasting panoramic views.  The lakes are perfect for activities like windsurfing, canoeing, and fishing.

The remarkable Vendée region is renowned for its distinctive microclimate, resulting in long summer days. Its picturesque “bocage” landscape hosts a plethora of attractions, including the renowned Puy du Fou, hailed as the world’s greatest outdoor theme park just 25km from the cottage.

Additionally, guests can indulge in various other outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, water sports, and fishing.  You can also enjoy fine dining experiences and access to some of Europe’s finest sandy beaches.
